Offered in stainless and carbon steel, GU series valves can be ordered in straight and angular patterns with end connection options in sizes from ¼ to 1 inch (6 to 25 mm). This valve has an operating pressure of up to 6000 psig at 200 ° F (413 bar at 93 ° C). The acid gas service model is also available.
The two-piece knuckle joints push the hardened end of the rod to make the seal leak. The non-rotating rod design minimizes wear seal, protects the seat back, and helps promote long life. Both fingertip and rod joints are strong, cold-rolled insulated from the system medium and protected from dust and dirt by stainless steel sheathing.
